Electrical Installation Condition Reports
About
Also known as EICRs or Periodic Inspections, this is an assessment of your property's electrical installation carried out by Qualified electricians who have the required knowledge, experience and the necessary Inspection and Testing Qualifications completed to the recognised City and Guilds Standard. We have many years experience completing these for Landlords, Insurance requirements and when home owners are either selling or purchasing a new property.

How is it carried out?
On the day, the electrician will first of all carry out visual inspections of your consumer unit, distribution boards and incoming supply equipment, before progressing onto assessing the rest of the property.
Once that is completed, we will conduct a variety of tests - both dead tests with the power isolated and live tests - followed by functional testing.
Completion
Once all of the required Inspection and Testing has been completed, a comprehensive report (EICR) will be provided by email and kept on record for future reference.
There are only two outcomes:
Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
We follow Industry standards, especially the guidance provided by a leading organisation "Electrical Safety First".
Observations will be given a coding based on risk and whether the items noted could be dangerous, potentially dangerous or are just not up to the latest standard.
After completing an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), we will carefully review the findings to determine if any urgent repairs or upgrades are necessary. We'll then create a plan for addressing any issues identified in the report, ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety standards. Finally, we'll schedule any required work with you, keeping you informed every step of the way to ensure your peace of mind.
